Before You Book

Got Questions? We've Got Answers

From menus to setup to guest counts, here's everything you need to know.

Booking

How do I book you?

All booking happens online β€” but if you've got questions about how our service works, we're always happy to chat it over on the phone! Just keep in mind that quotes have to go through email, so we won't be able to provide those over a call.

How do I check if my date is available?

Just pop over to our website and submit a form to check on your date! We've got multiple trucks and cuisines ready to roll, so don't be shy about reaching out β€” we'd love to help you find your perfect cheesy match.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

All cancellation and reschedule policies can be found in our booking terms linked in the footer of our website. You'll also get a copy with your catering agreement when you book.

Can the serving time change after I book?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no! Once we lock in your serving time, we build our other commitments around it β€” so if a proposed change would bump into another booking we've already promised based on our original commitment to you, we won't be able to make the switch.

How far in advance should I book?

For the best availability, we like to get your order in 4-8 weeks ahead of time β€” but don't sweat it if you're running behind, because rush bookings and even week-of requests are typically available too! Just know that if your first choice is already snagged, we may need to help you cozy up to a backup option instead.

Can I check availability before I know every detail?

It's tricky to nail down availability until we know your location and time β€” without those, checking the calendar is kind of like throwing darts at a wall!

What are your payment terms?

Payment terms are dictated by your catering agreement. They are also found in the booking terms in the footer of our website.

What information do you need to give me a quote?

To get you a quote whipped up, just share your date, time, address, and guest count β€” that's all we need!

Pricing & terms

What happens to my price if the event changes?

We're happy to help update your event details, but heads up β€” confirmed guest counts can't be reduced once they're set. If any approved changes end up affecting your price, you'll see it reflected in a revised quote, so you're never left guessing. Cozy comfort, clear pricing! πŸ§€

What affects the price of my event?

Your date, guest count, service time, and where your event's happening β€” that's what shapes your price. Simple as that!

Is gratuity included or expected?

Gratuity is not included or added automatically. Tipping is optional, and any cash or card tip goes directly to the crew serving your event.

Are there any fees I should know about up front?

Your written quote shows all charges before you book, including any travel, taxes, or booking fees. We do not add fees after you accept the quote unless your event changes and you approve a revised price.

Is there a minimum spend?

Most events have a minimum based on the date, location, guest count, and service time. We will confirm your minimum in writing before you book.

Do you offer fixed per-person pricing?

Sometimes. Pricing may be per person, package-based, or subject to a minimum depending on the event. Your quote will clearly show how your price is structured.

What is included in the quote you send me?

Every quote comes fully loaded β€” food service for your quoted guest count, plus all the plates, utensils, and serving supplies that come with your selected service. Easy, cheesy, and ready to serve!

How is your pricing structured?

Every event is quoted individually based on the menu, guest count, service time, and location. Your accepted quote is your price unless you approve a later revision.

Are there travel fees, and how far will you travel?

Travel fees may apply based on where our serving team is coming from. If there is a travel charge, it will be listed on your quote before you book. Service range varies by date and location.

How do you work out travel costs?

Travel costs come down to where our serving truck is starting from and how far it needs to travel to reach your event. We're rolling out of many major metro areas, and we can venture beyond them when it works out β€” so don't hesitate to ask!

Food

Can the menu be adjusted for our event?

We can absolutely tweak the menu to fit your event! Our standard menus are our most popular options, built to be approachable and please a crowd. But if you already know exactly what you're craving, just let us know and we'll whip up a quote for that instead.

How is your food actually cooked?

We do our cooking between the commissary and our truck, whipping up small batches just like we would for our own family.

Do you have kid-friendly options?

Absolutely, we can whip up kid-friendly options! We just ask that you let us know what you're thinking ahead of time. Kids can be picky eaters, so it really helps if you tell us what your little ones like so we can make sure it happens. Every kid is different, and we're happy to make them happy!

What do you refuse to compromise on?

Quality and responsiveness β€” those are non-negotiables for us. Great communication is what reassures you that we truly understand what you want and how to make it happen. And of course, the food itself is what keeps your event running smooth and cheesy from start to finish.

What do guests notice most about your food?

Guests always notice the passion and love baked right in. Our teams don't cook because they "can" β€” they cook because they want to.

What sides and drinks come with it?

Every menu comes with its own set of options, and we're happy to make tweaks where needed. As for drinks, we keep it simple and refreshing with an assortment of soda and water, though the exact lineup can vary by region.

What do you serve?

We cater get-togethers of all kinds, near and far! Most of our gatherings are private affairs, but you'll also find us dishing out cheesy goodness at public events too β€” we just have required sales minimums for every party based on our inputs.

Dietary

How do you handle food allergies?

We are very sensitive to guest needs. We put the upmost care into accommodating, but we only know the dietary restrictions you tell us up front. If there are severe allergies or needs please let our team know up front.

Do you offer gluten-friendly options?

We absolutely do!

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We can accommodate for almost any situation as long as we know up front. Surprises on site don't usually go well for our team or your guests.

Do you offer a vegetarian option?

We've got vegetarians covered! Every menu we build includes a vegetarian option. You're welcome to customize your menu however you like, but we highly recommend keeping at least one veggie-friendly dish on there, since it's a very common dietary habit among guests.

Service & the day

How early do you arrive before service starts?

Our crew rolls in 30-60 minutes before service kicks off. We give ourselves that window because you just never know what traffic's going to do!

How do you communicate with hosts before and during the event?

Communication is a big part of keeping your event stress-free! Here's how we stay in touch: 24-48 hours before your party, we'll email you the day-of contact info for the truck team, so you know exactly who's headed your way. You'll also get an automated email beforehand that gently checks in to confirm there are no changes to your party, so everything stays on track. Then, once our team rolls up on-site, we'll call the host to let you know we've arrived and get pointed to where we should park. Cheesy food, but not a chaotic process β€” we like to keep things smooth from start to finish!

How long does service take for a larger event?

Typically, we can dish out warm, cheesy comfort for about 60-80 guests per hour! This can vary depending on how streamlined your menu is and what your vision is for the event. For larger gatherings, we recommend teaming up with some of our other partner trucks to help keep the line moving and the good times rolling.

What happens to leftover food?

We're happy to handle the leftovers ourselves and take them home, or if you'd like to keep the cheesy goodness going, they're all yours! Just give us a heads-up 15 minutes prior to service so we can bundle everything up and stay on track for our next catering.

How does the serving line actually move?

Every party moves a little differently! The real bottleneck at the window is chatting through the menu with each guest β€” that's the slow part. We're always working to get those cheesy bowls out fast, but we can only move as quick as your guests can order. Good news: if folks already know what they want going in, the line can zip along way faster!

What do you do when the line gets long?

When the line stretches out, we just get cheesier with our hustle! We shift into batch-cooking mode, whipping up 2-3 orders at once and cooking to the back of the line β€” so we've always got a few of each option ready to go the moment someone orders. That means nothing sits around getting stale; every bowl goes out the window within a minute or two, and we're already cooking up the next batch to keep the line moving and the comfort food coming.

What does setup look like on event day?

We usually roll in about 30-60 minutes before service, depending on how traffic treats us. The good news? Most of the prep magic happens before we even arrive, so once we're parked, we pop the window open right on time and start dishing out the cheesy goodness. When the scheduled time wraps upβ€”or every last guest has been fedβ€”we pack up the truck nice and quiet and head out.

Do you provide plates, napkins, and utensils?

Yep! We bring all the cutlery and disposables you need so guests can enjoy their meal without a worry. Just note we don't provide extras for items we aren't serving up ourselves.

What happens at the end of service?

At the end of the fun, we give a big thank-you to our host, pack up the truck, and hit the road!

Site & logistics

What if my venue has tight or unusual access?

Got tight or unusual access at your venue? No worries β€” we'll just get a little creative with where we park and set up shop. Before the big day, we can send over our truck dimensions so you can double-check everything fits. As a good rule of thumb, we like to have 40ft x 10ft x 12ft tall of space available, with upwards of 50 ft to maneuver a trailer in. And if it's really tight? Worst case, we'll just park wherever nothing gets damaged and set up a bit farther away β€” because one way or another, everyone's getting fed!

What makes a site difficult to serve?

Sites get tricky when a venue decides to step in and start dictating how food service should run. They may have the space, but they don't always have the kitchen setup or food service know-how to back it up. We're passionate about what we do β€” we want every event to be a cheesy, comforting win for everyone involved.

What do you need from us on the day?

On our end, we just need a level spot to park that's clear and ready for us β€” and a friendly voice on the phone as we roll up so we can find our way to the right parking spot!

Can you serve indoors, or do you need to be outside?

We can absolutely bring the cheesy goodness indoors! Most of the time, fire code calls for proper ventilation or cooking from electric if we're setting up inside β€” but don't worry, it's something we can figure out together if needed!

Who handles permits and venue approvals?

Those are handled by the host. We can provide licensing and proof of insurance, but we do not pull event permits or pay venue costs on behalf of a host.

Do you need power or water hookups?

We're totally self-sufficient once we're parked β€” no power or water hookups needed!

How much space do you need to set up?

For trucks, we usually need 40ftx10ft, and for trailers, 50ftx10ft β€” though once we're parked, the truck can detach from the trailer to shrink its footprint.

Can you serve at a school, park, venue, or private property?

We sure can! We're mobile and roll right up wherever the comfort-food craving strikes β€” school, park, venue, or private property.

Events

What kinds of events do you cater?

We cater events of all sizes and styles. If you need great food, we would love to help!

What kind of event are you the best fit for?

Honestly, about any event with great food is our sweet spot. We don't get too stuck on the event typeβ€”we just care about the food and the experience we're creating for our hosts and guests.

What's the most memorable event you've done?

We've served up bowls at all kinds of events β€” weddings, country super-stars, professional athletes, you name it β€” but honestly, nothing quite compares to the first time you watch your dream come to life and drive that truck out for its very first job. The memories from those early days? Those are the ones that stick with us forever.

Is there a minimum guest count?

Nope, no minimum guest count here! We do work with a minimum spend, though.

What size events can you handle?

We can handle events of all sizes! For smaller get-togethers, we can send one truck, and for bigger celebrations, we've sent as many as 17 trucks. It all depends on your vision.

The unexpected

What if you run out of food?

We come loaded up to feed the exact number of guests you give us upfront β€” no extra buried in the truck, so an accurate headcount is the secret ingredient to never running short! Since we're a mobile kitchen and not a full-blown restaurant, we don't have big fridges and freezers to stash backup batches should the guest count end up higher than expected. On the flip side, if your crowd comes in smaller than planned, all those tasty leftovers are yours to keep!

What do hosts most often forget to ask?

Dietary restrictions! We're happy to accommodate your guests, but we need to know up front. Once gluten's been introduced into the kitchen, it's tough to eliminate it with 100% certainty if half your guests turn out to be GF.

What happens if you're delayed getting to the venue?

We're mobile, so unfortunately this can happen if there's a bad accident blocking traffic. But should that happen, know that while it's few and far between, we're happy to stay late to make sure everyone gets fed. Accidents aren't our fault or your fault, but we want to make sure you get everything you paid for.

What happens if more guests show up than we told you?

There is a chance we run out of food. Its good practice to overestimate by 10-15% to make sure everyone gets fed.

What's your plan if the weather turns bad?

We show up rain, snow, wind, or shine. We can always pack things in to-go containers.

Proof & trust

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. All our teams hold a health license and insurance.

What makes you different from other caterers?

We'll be honest β€” we're not about to trash-talk our fellow food truck friends, because they really do bring great food to the table too. We just happen to think ours is a little extra special (mac and cheese bias, guilty as charged). What truly sets us apart is how we communicate. We pick up the phone every time, answer emails around the clock, and always text you back. No matter how you reach out, we make sure you're heard β€” every channel, every time.

Can you provide insurance or vendor documentation?

We can provide that when requested. Please note on COI's our agents can take up to 7 days. We are unable to change our policies for events.

How long have you been doing this?

We've been ladling out cheesy comfort since 2016, when our very first truck hit the road β€” and we've been growing and getting better ever since. Let us know how we can serve you!

Why should we book you?

As owner-operators, we know this truck inside and outβ€”every noodle, every knob, every quirk. We're not just caterers dishing out bowls and heading home; we're your co-hosts for the day. If our truck has limitations, we'll tell you upfrontβ€”no sugarcoating, no misleading you about what can't be done. Just honest, cheesy comfort food from people who genuinely care how your event turns out.

Where you serve

Why do you need the exact event address?

We can't dish out a quote without knowing exactly where the cheesy goodness needs to travel! Mileage is one of our biggest cost drivers, so knowing your event address is essential before we can put a number together.

Can you serve nearby towns outside the main city?

Absolutely! We're a mobile kitchen, so we can go wherever you are.

Where do you serve?

We cater private parties everywhere and anywhere β€” cheesy comfort food knows no boundaries! Reach out today and let our team get cooking for you.
